New Delhi: NTPC supported Indian Archers Deepika Kumari, Atanu Das, Ankita Bhakat and Komalika Bari put up a stellar performance at the recently concluded Archery World Cup (Stage-I) at Guatemala. In Women’s and Men’s Individual Recurve events Deepika Kumari and Atanu Das won the Gold Medal in their respective categories.

NTPC is supporting Archery for all its National and International Tournaments.
The Women’s Recurve Team comprising Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat and Komalika Bari won Gold while the Indian Mixed Recurve team comprising Ankita Bhakat and Atanu Das bagged Bronze Medal.

As part of its CSR, NTPC Ltd, India’s largest integrated energy company, has partnered with Archery Association of India (AAI). Through this partnership, NTPC aims to provide a platform to Indian Archers and youth to showcase their talent and elevate India’s reputation in the field of Archery.

The group has over 18 GW of capacity under construction, including 5 GW of renewable energy projects.
