Pune: The fifth convocation ceremony of Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) was held virtually recently.

The ceremony was held under the guidance of Dr DY Patil, Former Governor of Bihar, Tripura and West Bengal, Dr Ajeenkya DY Patil, President, Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Dr. Vijay DY Patil, Chancellor, DY Patil University, and Hrridaysh Deshpande, Vice-Chancellor.

“Every year we would have a glittering convocation ceremony, and we looked forward to celebrating the achievements of our students. This year we could not do so, but the opportunity to innovate and grow exists, no matter how dark the times are. It is in the time of dislocation that opportunities open up. In times such as these, we are figuring out how to deploy technology more effectively, to make learning accessible for students with different needs. We are evaluating how learning can be driven by students themselves, and transforming the present system of credentialing to change to a system which is based on a holistic learner record, and is not just about the grades. We are also trying to revisualize our institution to be a great contributor to the emerging world and contribute to making constructive students who shape the 21st century. The Ajeenkya DY Patil University remains ever-committed to be a center of creativity, learning and intellectual energy.”
