Bengaluru: AirAsia India was recognised among India’s ‘Best Workplaces in Transportation’ by the Great Place to Work institute, which assesses the strengths of workplace cultures across organizations. The recognition reinforces AirAsia India’s embodiment of its People First value, and is based on validated employee feedback gathered by the Great Place to Work Institute in an independent assessment.

Through the last year, its Allstars (as AirAsia employees are fondly known) participated in continuous engagement initiatives, with a supportive work culture that empowers employees to be productive at work and lead a happy and balanced life. The dynamic and open organisational culture is built on a flat hierarchy which enables a collaborative and innovative operating environment.

As an organisation that continually works towards fostering a supportive and inclusive culture and empowering employees, AirAsia has been taking the lead in encouraging diversity in the workplace. This recognition is testament to AirAsia India’s efforts to ensure that everyone, irrespective of their job role, tenure, age or gender, has a consistently positive experience.

“It is gratifying to be recognised among India’s Best Workplaces in Transportation. We firmly believe that an organisation’s success and its culture, specially in a service industry like ours, is defined by its employees. The foundation of our success is the manner in which we remain true to our core values – and this recognition is a testament to our efforts to always put People First.
